We had the pleasure of working with Brett at Downunda Pools, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the entire experience! We are extremely happy with our luxury pool, spa, and backyard makeover courtesy of Downunda Pools. Brett's service, from the design phase through project completion, was second to none. He’s a great communicator and very responsive to his customers. Downunda was able to finish our project on time and on budget. Our pool looks fantastic and exceeded our expectations. Downunda was highly recommended to me, and I continue to highly recommend them to others. If I ever have another pool project in Houston, I’d certainly use Downunda again.

Decades of experience. Great professional and knows pools and landscaping! Design was lovely and he helped with all the details and options before we decided. Pool / jacuzzi / kitchen were all started and completed on time. Brett was always flexible with the details and minor adjustments. Upon completion that project made our backyard one of the nicest in the neighborhood. We loved the pool, jacuzzi and outdoor kitchen. I will highly recommend Brett and the Downunda Pools team for any projects!

It’s been two years since Brett built our pool and the outdoor covered space. This was not the least expensive quote we received, but we knew that it would be the best quality work we could get for the price range, and so far that has proven to be exactly the case. The pool was completed very efficiently, and even during a Gunite shortage. During the build, and now even a couple of years later, he is very responsive. The saltwater generator stopped working about six or eight months ago, and he got someone to come out and replace it under warranty. Could not be happier with the quality and the service, and have recommended this company to several friends.

Brett & company did an outstanding job with what I’d consider a very challenging project. The area we chose to place our pool is extremely tight and he managed to design and execute a pool that is quite large but ties in well with our architecture and space provided without overwhelming it. There were unforeseen challenges during the build and Brett handled all of them with great professionalism. Some of these challenges were certainly customer induced and Brett was always extremely patient and understanding! Brett helped guide us through tile/stone/pool finishes and we are thrilled with the way it turned out. The weather has cooperated a few times this winter and we’ve been able to enjoy the pool a handful of times now, it’s outstanding we anre so pleased. Onto landscaping that will do this pool justice!

Met Brett Hatfield with Downunda Pools, very great guy, excellent eye for design. We were looking for Houston Pool designer. Brett and his team did an incredible job building our pool and spa. It was finished on budget and ahead of schedule during the beginning of the pandemic and across the Feb ‘20 freeze. The finished product was exactly what we wanted and expected. Downunda’s approach of dedicated project management meant there were no days without work being done and led to the project finishing with little to no anxiety on our part - even with a premium company like Downunda, this part of the experience far exceeded our expectations. Brett’s communication and attention to detail from the first call to today for expected ongoing support is transparent with client satisfaction the top priority. We’ve recommended Downunda several times, will continue to do so, and encourage those reading this review to strongly consider them as well.

Brett and Riley were terrific! In this Covid-era when it's difficult to get home and pool repairs accomplished with integrity and on a timely basis, they did what they promised, when they promised, for a fair price, and it worked.
